Meeting the Family

We took a road trip this last weekend so Carissa could meet some more of the family. We were able to see both of her great-grandmothers and some aunts, uncles and cousins. Here is Carissa with her G'G'ma.

Summer Lovin'

Our Sunday school class went to the park a couple of weeks ago. Here is Will with his friend Ella. She was scared and Will was telling her it was going to be ok.

Share-A-Pooting

We went to watch our friend, Jeff, skydive for his 30th birthday a couple of weekend ago. Will kept calling the Parachutes "Share-A-Poots." We all got a good laugh!

Sleep!

Carissa decided to sleep for 9 hours last night and nap most of today. Praise the Lord!

Maybe the trick was having Will put her to sleep. :o)

April

It has been a while since I have posted anything. We had family in until around the first of April, which was a huge help, but once they left, blogging was put on the back burner. I definitely think going from 1 to 2 kiddos is a bigger adjustment than going from 0 to 1.

I just keep falling in deeper love with both Will and Carissa. Will is a little rascall, but he knows how to say the cutest and funniest things to keep him out of too much trouble. Carissa has started smiling, laughing, and cooing. We are enjoying watching her personality emerge. I didn't realize how much fun it was going to be to have a girl, but I really do love it.

My goal in May is to work on posting short entries with pictures and stories as they happen.
